Re: "Tamaskan Wolfdog" (RightPuppy Kennel)

As a responsible breeder, it must be gutting to find out that someone you trusted with one of your pups allowed that pup to end up as a breeding machine for this scumbag, and others like him.

Re: TV Shows about Dogs

The prison one was a series on every week following the training of the inmates dogs. Selected prisoners were each given a young dog to look after and train and they were in a separate part of the prison away from other prisoners. Each dog was taught to help the disabled and eventually they went on...

If he wanted to know my qualifications he could just check my website. Let's see I have been showing dogs since I could walk, judging for about 6 years, within the last few weeks I did my first champ show, I am on the lists to judge ALL arctic breeds recognised in UK.. I have been breeding for only...

Lets just hope that RPK doesn't deploy any intimidation tactics before you get the chance to speak to the vet himself.

Good luck, and hopefully this guy can finally be shut down, for good.

TamaskanTruth.com (responses to RPK's allegations)

When I said take it apart, I really meant it. :) Again, you have to make up your own mind. I am an outsider. You are free to believe what you want. I have made every possible attempt to hear both sides of the rumors. I tried to pull out the facts and ignored unsubstantiated opinions. What is the exp...

Re: Tamaskans VS Saarlooswolfhond & Czechoslovakian Wolfdog

Very interesting post Debby. Just one thing though, you suggest tamaskans could be used as guide dogs, has this been proven? its just that when I asked about it on the old forum it was said that they wouldn't be suitable for such a task, so was just wondering what had changed. Having a guide dog her...

Re: The Black-Grey Tamaskan

As pups lovely as they are, the black grey's don't really do it for me, to much contrast between light and dark. However, as they age, in my opinion at least, they seem to come into their own. To be honist, I like the fact that the tamaskan doesn't come in solid colours. I've seen many a white north...

Re: "Tamaskan Wolfdog" (RightPuppy Kennel)

My opinion of this man is now so low, it couldn't reach past the waist height of an earthworm.

On the subject of his breeding, I thought he had crossed his Tamaskan-ish type dogs with his Shiba Inus at least once.

Re: Pedigree Dogs Exposed - super interesting documentary

*Long post warning* I can see your point however, the program was called "pedigree dogs exposed", not 'dog showing exposed', therefore they had a much wider range of subjects they could have focused in on. Instead however, they decided to focus solely on the dog showing community, when the issues it...

Re: Pedigree Dogs Exposed - super interesting documentary

I totally agree with that post. I did find the program interesting, but that doesn't change my view of it. I thought the BBC's decision to pull out of covering crufts wasn't a very bright move on their part. They could have used that opportunity to cover in more depth the issues raised in that docum...

Re: Pedigree Dogs Exposed - super interesting documentary

I saw this the first time round and personally thought it was far from balanced in its views. I felt that it was trying to blame everything on either those who show their dogs, or the kennel club. It made no mention of puppy farms and back yard breeders who I believe do far more damage to the health...

Re: "Tamaskan Wolfdog" (RightPuppy Kennel)

Treating his dogs like crap, or inanimate objects, trying to threaten/intimidate/harass other breeders/tamaskan owners or anyone interested in the breed. Buying web addresses and pretending to be other people etc. I don't think I'd be being too harsh when I say, that I think RPK is one sad, miserabl...

Re: the Degenerative Myelopathie(DM) test for the Tamaskan

Excilent news for those with clear results, what a relief that must be.

Also just wanted to say, its great to see people so willing to deal with an issue within their breed, as apposed to sticking their heads in the sand as so often appears to happen.

British utonagan standard.

http://www.britishutonagan.com/breedstandard.htm

I know colour is definately one area of variation, but not sure what the others are, as havn't compaired the british ut standard with that of the tamaskan.

Re: Tamaskan vs. Utonagan

I think the utonagan have a standard, will look it up for you. I know the british utonagan, the new utonagan offshoot have a standard, but think it has more allowance for variation than the tamaskan one, infact I know it does, will look that one up to. Many of the uts/british uts, look like collie c...
