Hmm he may be sensing that you and your family are scared and taking advantage of it, but I think you should consider calling a professional trainer to help you out.

Also, you might wanna rethink having a tam outside during the day as they are very good at escaping.

No Way :o Dwarf Tamaskan dogs? I would freak........like little pigmy wolves. While all little creatures regardless of how they got here are special, the genetic problems associated with smaller breeds ( pedigree) are so prevalent. I just see it know, someone gets ahold of a Tamaskan carrying the g...

awesome. It would be great to build the breed up in Australia. And if there are some properly registered dogs there people won't be tempted to by ones that Aaron guy in Melbourne is planning to sell.
Is there anything special I would need to do to have a stud dog?

Re: Question a about crating

its just that i live alone and dont know if that will have changed by the time i get a pup. i do have another dog which would keep him company, and am thinking about doggy daycare, or a pet sitter that comes around during the day to put him out and give him a bit of love.

Crate Training!

Is crating only ok for short term? Why about people that work all day? Or do you only need to train them for a while as a pup so they dont destroy things? A few websites have answers that contradict. What do you guys do with your tam?

Also, if you're getting a pup from the US, it can't come over before it's 6months. Only 3 months for the UK. I'm definitely going to get one. I just have to save up the 4500-5000 it's going to cost for pup, flight, application fees, quarantine stay ($1300 just for that!) :D

I think people sterilise tier dogs as early as possible, because the the more they weigh the more the surgery costs. I may be wrong however. It's just one of those things you grow up hearing and always sticks with you.
