BBC LIve n Deadly

Post by dash » Thu Nov 10, 2011 10:47 am

We will be on the show with the team which is on this Sat 9 - 10 on BBC 2.
It's a kids TV animal show for those who aren't forced to watch children's TV by their kids.
We will be sledding down a snowdome with our guys and then the presenter will go through some of the facts that make these dogs so amazing. We think we'll use Dash for him to show their webbed feet, etc.
The plan is also for the presenter and the guest (arctic explorer) to then have some sort of race with the dogs. We go for rehearsals tomorrow, but it's all filmed live on the Sat - what's that saying about never working with animals and children!!!!!!

Watched the start of the program, the team looked great racing up the slope. I also loved the presenter getting a good wash from one of your huskies   Not had time to watch the whole program to see if they are featured again, but will watch it at some point. Looks like the dogs enjoyed themselves on the snow and they behaved perfectly.

We were only on at the start, Steve the presenter was going to race with the dogs with the arctic explorer woman but she was worried she might hurt herself and she has an expedition coming up soon.
Mckinnley is the husky who gave Steve a proper good wash, he is very soppy!!
The team were very well behaved considering at times they were hooked up to go and then had to wait around for quite a while. There were also owls around and that was quite off putting for our guys, but luckily they didn't eat one!!!

cheers guys we're very proud of them as there was alot of hanging around!! Yep Dash was leading the team and she's the one Steve showed their webbed feet and she sat very calmly just looking at him.
Kinners loves giving kisses when we go into schools he's a hit with the kids as he does like to spread his love around!!
