Tala (USA) - adopted

Post by michifloo » Fri Jun 25, 2010 1:34 am

I just wanted you to meet Tala....she was seized by animal control because her owner had a few Pit Bulls and dabbled in dog fighting....Tala is about 7 months old and fortunately for her was not used as a bait dog, but may have been used in other means....

She is already adopted out....BUT, you need to be aware that she is confirmed to be a RPK down line....with over 100 dogs sold within the last year (as stated by him) unfortunately, some of his puppy buyers will have ill-intent...

Tala's breeder sold to anyone with cash ...

I am humbled and gratified to have saved this beautiful dog....

Feel free to contact me with any questions about the rescue effort....my website is:

http://www.tamaskanusa.com

it is still a pretty pathetic looking site, but does the job!!! Look at the Rescue Info page for more details....

I've had the fine pleasure to meet Tala. She is a wonderful dog who deserves a home to love and cherish her. She is so smart and beautiful. It breaks my heart to think that any person would not love her to pieces :D

Tala went to her new home the week prior to the 4th of July (a holiday in the USA) I tried to post a video of her playing with her new friend, but at least there are a couple of pics ;) A 3 y/o Lab...Very touching story! These folks had adopted a prev rescue, but their Lab became withdrawn and the rescue dog kept him that way!!! They were heartbroken that it didn't work out, but seem thrilled that they waited!!! I am sooo happy that I was able to find a dog that their Lab likes!!! They are going to get into alot of mischief together!!!! Happy Endings...thats what I do this for, and what my husband puts up with :D

Just an update for you all- Tala is doing great! her and our lab Brody are really getting along! She just needs to stop waking me up in the wee hours in the morning, but from what I gather that's a pretty common occurance! haha

Updated pics are ALWAYS appreciated here on the forum! I knew that Tala was the right pup for Brody! I'm kinda sad that you guys are so far away but someday we'll truck it out there again and visit! Feel free to introduce yourselves on the forum officially. There is a link from the main page for that...hopefully you'll connect with Luna's mom, another rescue from earlier this year...Luna was the spitting image of Loo-Loo, but I could never confirm exactly where she came from...

Anyway, so happy things are going well! How's she handling the heat?

Hey, she's doin fine with the heat! usually during the day if we can't be there we just leave the door in the kitchen open so she can go in and out as she pleases into the back yard. Brody has that option too... but, as you know, he doesn't use it! haha
