PLEASE NOTE: Taos is NOT a Tamaskan but he IS a very Tamaskan-y looking Northern Inuit...
(the NI is one of the breeds that went into the creation of the Tamaskan Dog of today.)
It sounds like there might be some work involved with retraining and socializing this chap...He has been given to us by a breeder who no longer required him. He has never lived in a home and is learning with us to walk better on the lead. He is very large and out of all the Inuits I have here looks the most like a wolf. He has no real domestic skills as has not lived in a home before. This is a very specialist breed and unless you have time patience and the commitment please DO NOT apply.
However, if you are in the UK and are interested in adopting an older wolfy-looking Rescue Dog, this is definitely worth looking into!
This dog is located at the main rescue centre in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire.13-02-11 UPDATE:
What a stunning lad Taos is. All the Inuits we have here are so loving and all have great temperaments and Taos is no exception. He loves to be made a fuss of and being groomed. He would love a home to call his own. He is very calm in his kennel, never jumping up, but always there for a cuddle.
