Ice (Italy) - adopted

Post by Sylvaen » Mon Jul 04, 2011 3:08 pm

Cortona (AR): young male at Ossaia Shelter.
Reference: Canile Ossaia on Facebook or Clare (phone: 3334694112 after 16:00)

Ice is a wonderful mix, looks just like an Alba Tam. Aged about a year and a half, just arrived at the kennel.
Healthy, obedient, affectionate and sweet, gets along with everyone.
It is located at Ossaia Shelter but will be taken to the center in the north for adoption with pre-and post-foster care.

He certainly looks as if Alba's Odin could be his sire. Lovely dog. Hope he finds a good home very soon.

Yes I agree he looks def like a Tamaskan and an Alba at that. Is there anyway we could find out if Liz sold a pup to Italy?

It would be cool if we could figure out if he was full blood tamaskan :)

The real question: is anyone still in contact with Liz (on good terms) who could ask her?
I've already shared this link with several individuals who might be able to help (or know people who might be interested in adopting him) but haven't gotten any feedback yet... :?

As soon as I saw him I felt certain he was out of Alba bloodlines!!
He certainly could be an Odin offspring!

I'll send Liz an email asking her about him, is there anything specific you would like me to ask?

Perhaps, just if she sent a pup to Italy around a year and a half ago (since that's how old he is) or if she recognizes him and, if so, if she knows who his owners are (or were)... he definitely looks like he could be out of Odin, maybe she even knows someone in Italy who would want to adopt him...

The shelter says he is a cross between German Shepherd, Husky and Czech wolfdog.

I also agree this looks very much like an Alba Tamaskan. But then we have been wrong before ;)
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
.............................................................
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
