Other Tamaskan-looking dogs Rescued by IHWNAH

Post by Tiantai » Tue Jul 24, 2012 12:11 am

This is a mutt name Sky who was rescued into the shelter. He is a very gentle beauty and will be set up for adoption. If anyone is interested in adopting him, please email Karen at: inharmonywithnature.adoptions@gmail.com or call 407-495-8954.

Sky is NOT a wolfdog.

Gorgeous boy, but I must say, looks more wolfdoggy than Tamaskany.

George (black male) and Shay (grey female) are a pair of mutts rescued and brought in together.

George looks less Tamaskanish but when you adopt Shay, he'll have to come with you as well. The two are VERY closely bonded and have difficulties when separated even for a short few hours. As a result, the In Harmony with Nature Animal Haven have set up the condition that anyone interested in adopting this pair will have to TAKE BOTH. Also, due to the fact that both of them are to be sent together, the adopter MUST visit the shelter in person and like any other dogs coming from IHWNAH once adopted the shelter will keep in touch with you for the rest of the dogs' lives to check up on how they are doing. IHWNAH is a very strict group who won't just send dogs to anyone, they screen the new owners and you'll have to go through a process before you're allowed to bring home the dogs that you request to adopt.

Both are said to be very friendly but while George is very open to strangers, Shay is a tiny bit shy around first time new people but will eventually warm up after a period of time and this is also why the shelter wants people to visit them in person, so that they can rehome both together without worrying about shyness problems.
