Rehoming 7 year old female

Hello everyone

It breaks my heart after 7 long years but my dog Tia needs are far greater than mine!
I am not sure where I can start hopefully the forum can provide some help here. I have contacted the breeder at Blugstag and they are being helpful in trying to find a suitable owner for Tia.

Reason we are having to give her up is she can’t cope being alone very long we have a dog walker and it’s not enough, she gets very upset over heated and starts to destroy as a consequence not her fault she just can’t cope. So after 7 years of arguing about what best for Tia the ‘other half’ has finally given in and sees this cannot continue for Tia’s sake.

She needs a home where they are at home most of the time, retired maybe, she would be good on a farm she like lots of land and loves to roam and explore. She is the perfect pet she’s trained up to silver in kennel club, vaccinated and healthy. Tia is very intelligent, loving and very pretty everything you expect from her breed and I want only the best home for her wherever that may be.

If anyone can help I would be grateful as the longer we have her, the more upset she gets and I just want her to be happy. If I could quit my job I would but I can’t and I work 45 miles away and my partner over 80 miles. For the record when we got Tia we worked locally but things change and Tia has never adapted well to this not matter what we have tried which is pretty much everything.

Thanks
Anna

Where are you located? What is her registered name? Is she intact or spayed?

I'm so sorry you have to go through this, will put her information on the Tamaskan Rescue page once I'm off work if one of the other admins have not yet done so.

Also please don't try to get her rehomed via Blustag. They have rehomed Bear before and did an awful job at finding a suitable place for him :(

UTD with vaccs? Yes all uo to date will need more if she is going overseas
Dog friendly? Yes dog walker take Tia and 4 others everyday
People friendly? Mostly once she gets to know you! Shes not a teddy bear just give her time and space she will warm very quickly does not like overcrowding....what dog does?
Kid friendly? under 10 I would say no, teenagers all ok
Small animal (cats, rabbits etc) friendly? Cats yes she may try and chase but ts just play we had one before when we got Tia, any other small pets is regarded as a light snack.
The more info you give, the better the chances of finding her the right home.
