I remember Rolf being pronounced more like it rhymed with golf, but it's been a long time.

Any Harry Potter fans here? I have something that might interest you. Last week I found this awesome and simple wand tutorial. http://fav.me/d389bn0
Here's a wand I made with it (though I used a paintbrush instead of a chopstick).

Venting!
Frustrated with a 'friend', the same one who had the accidental mating with his young female Husky, Luna, and even younger male Husky, Thunder, in which they allowed the litter to be born (even though they could of stopped it but said it was too cruel for the unborn puppies). The last puppy of the litter went to its home a few days ago.
Thunder is not a year old yet (and I believe they have not done any health testing of any kind), and they already studded him out to someone with a female Husky named Alaska, the litter has already been born, on December 7th.

Whenever I see someone say they are interested in breeding, I always want to ask why, what motivates them? Are they trying to help better their breed? Are they willing to do health testing and if there is anything wrong then to not breed? Are they interested in working lines? Or are they interested in just making money while getting to play with cute puppies?

Power outage in Ontario. This year my relatives and I are spending the holidays cooking the old-fashion way with propanes and using flashlights.

Also, tree branches are falling down like CRAZY here in the GTA thanks to all the heavy ice on them during the aftermath of that freezing rain

Hey guys, I just want to remind everyone [who lives in houses] living in the northeastern US and the maritime Canada that when shoveling snow off the driveway please remember to clear the ice off the road drains. The rock salts on the road will only melt the ice in the area that it was sprinkled on but the water may not be able to completely penetrate under the other parts of the thick ice sheet. This problem has been announced on the Toronto's City TV channel multiple times last week so to prevent floods in the case of more freezing rains we need to clear small paths for the water to pour into the drains. We've already had a few flooding cases in some parts of Ontario and Manitoba. If the drain near your driveway or your next door's is covered, break the ice off with a metal shovel and move it aside so that the water can pour in. I spent all morning and afternoon today clearing off the thick ice in my neighbourhood when I realized that the water was accumulating in some parts of the road.

While at today's DOGSDFW hike, one of my friends pointed out how there were quite a few young puppies out today at the park. Then we realized, they had to of been Christmas gifts. The shelters will be full of young dogs in a couple months.

:D I saw a fox a few minutes ago not far from my house! It was crossing the road and disappeared into the bushes. I know there are foxes around here, but this is the first one I've seen! I'm so happy I got to see it! (And that it made it across the street!)

I don't see why it matters whether it is because one likes brests or because one likes the human being behind the breasts as long as one support the fight against breast cancer..

Less likely unless they overdoes on estrogen pills (which is also why transwomen are given a strict schedule of when to take each pill and not to overdose).

As for the causes, don't get me wrong I support the fight to end breast cancer or any type of cancer but sometimes I do find that certain pamphlets I have seen ironically [and I assume unintentionally] slightly sexualizes the images of these sad situations. That does put me off when I see it.

Actually 1 in 1000 men will get breast cancer in their lifetime.. that is quite a few if you look at a larger scale..
And actually breast cancer in men are not only caused by estrogen overdose..

But yes, women mostly get it, men only represent 1% of all breast cancer victims, but because there is so little focus on it in men it is most often caught in later stages and therefore the risk of fatality is larger than in women since a lot are caught in a earlier stage.
Denmark actually have had campaigns to inform men of the risk because of this..

Good news everyone:

'ANIMAL PLANET CANCELS MAN-EATING SUPER WOLVES SHOW;
PROGRAM Nominated for Scat Award by
International Wolf Center
Following sharp public criticism, Animal Planet removed its Man-Eating Super Wolves show from previously scheduled air times on Tuesday evening, May 27, and Wednesday, May 28. The program was a part of the special series Monster Week, which routinely demonizes real and imagined predators.
"The show was irresponsible," said the Center's Executive Director Rob Schultz. "Producers blended distorted facts, fabricated details and unreliable resources to confuse the public and incite fear and hatred of wolves."
It is because of these damaging distortions that Man-Eating Super Wolves has been nominated for the Center's 2014 Scat Award, given for the worst portrayal of wolves in the media, literature or cinema. "Left unchecked, these distortions can cause people to make poor and misinformed decisions that affect the future of wolves living in the wild," Schultz explained.
Renowned Senior Research Scientist and wolf expert L. David Mech, of the U.S. Geological Survey, denounced the program as "Total nonsense and a real disservice to the wolf, to science, and to the public.

Mech, who has spent his 55-year career studying wolves in many areas of the world, says that the program is one of the most sensationalistic, exaggerations of the real wolf that he has ever seen.
"If wolves were so dangerous to humans," Mech asked, "how have Minnesotans canoeing and hiking survived throughout the Superior National Forest and other parts of northern Minnesota, where some 2,500 or 3,000 wolves roam? Or throughout most of Canada, where an estimated 60,000 wolves live?"
Photo Caption: Mech takes behavioral notes on an arctic wolf during a research expedition. He carries no gun and never felt he needed to do so.
"Wolf attacks on humans are uncommon and extremely rare," says Schultz. "To suggest that wolves have consumed all of their natural prey and are beginning to feed on humans is ridiculous and demonstrates a lack of understanding of our natural world."
The Scat Award was last given to the movie The Grey in 2013.'
