This is so awesome and hilarious

Note: The rap does not include Diancie (#719), Volcanion (#720), or Hoopa (#721), the three hidden legendaries from Pokémon X & Y versions.

They're up to 721 already? I don't think I've played since it was around 300. xD

There are 700 + now!
Bloody hell, I remember when there were only 150, for some reason thinking about it makes me feel old, lol.

yes, I also feel like an old genwunner when playing some of the "newer games"  though it is amazing to see some of my faves in 3D graphics in X & Y and *some* of the newer pokes are pretty cool (to me "newer" is anything after Johto. hahaha)

that's around gen 2, right? Johto? yea, that was the last time I played as well, until BW2 and X/Y. Have to say those are some decent maps, stories and pokes - which is probably why they grabbed me again   makes me miss Japan because it's not "nerdy" to like Pokemon over there :P you could see grown women and men, people of all ages at the Pokemon Center (yes, and it plays the pokemon center music) playing the games and getting merch

Was there an orange league? Or am I imagining it? It really has been a long time, hello nostalgia, lol.
I now have the Team Rocket theme tune stuck in my head, that's going to get annoying.
And what the hell was with that GS ball? Erm, it was GS wasn't it?

I do wish sometimes that I had the depth perception to appreciate 3D.

The Orange League was a "filler season" in between the Kanto and Johto seasons.

The GS Ball was ORIGINALLY supposed to be a preparation to open up a final concluding arc of the Johto Saga featuring the legendary time-hopping Celebi. However, due to the Pokémon already having made multiple appearances in the shows (Richie in a special episode met one who brought him back in time to rescue a young nurse's boyfriend from a landslide) as well as in the Pokémon 4Ever movie, the writers decided to scrap that idea and had Ash surrender the GS to the Apricorn Pokéball Maker Kurt. This was the creators' attempts to make fans forget about the GS Ball, but clearly NO ONE forgot about it and kept on asking them so they had to confess it out in one of the anime conventions.
