Dobermans for first-time Dobie owner

Post by Valravn » Wed Jun 15, 2016 11:49 pm

Hey everyone. A friend of a friend is considering getting a Doberman but wants to know what sort of things they need to know before owning one. If anyone has an experience with Dobermans anything you can tell me that I can pass on would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know much about the breed, apart from the fact that they are very loyal and very intelligent. I prefer Dobies that don't have cropped ears or tails though.

They are great dogs, super smart, but good god the amount of health issues. Make SURE she has insurance from day one :/
