Vote for the winner (HALLOWEEN)

Post by blufawn » Fri Nov 05, 2010 10:42 am

Sorry that some peoples photos have not been chosen.
In order to be able to use the voting system on the forum I had to narrow down the choices to just 10 pictures.
A big thank you to everyone who took part, the largest entry EVER....
Sorry to those who didnt make it through, I loved the pumpkin, but because it was for the Tamaskan Calendar we thought it was best if an actual Tamaskan was in the picture.

Poll will run for 10 days when the winner will be announced

I will now be running a photo competition every month (with a different theme) to compete for various months in the 2012 Tamaskan 'decade' anniversary calendar which I am hoping to have available for sale at the Tamaskan Fest 2012 :D Its over a year and a half away and already totally excited.

To bad my fav didn't make the cut.. :( What's the criteria for choosing the participants? Wouldn't it be better if it was a restricted amount of entries/person so their pics wouldn't have to get cut from the competition? In that case everyone could choose their own fav before posting and it would be more fair in the voting process.. Just a theory.. :) I'm a member of a staffie forum, and there we have those rules for pic competitions. :)

Last year only two people entered the competition so it seemed daft to stop people entering more than one picture if they were taking the time to make them.
I would not like to restrict the amount of entries as some people might make two brilliant pictures but not be allowed to enter them both and instead we end up with one good one and a load of rubbish ones.

Obviously when we look at photos we want to see photos that are clear and not blurred, good lighting and of course the Tamaskan being the main object of the photo.

Now we are planning more photo competitions we may set some rules in place for the forum, but I think this system works fine for now.
