Greetings from Virginia!

Post by freshbake » Sun Mar 24, 2013 10:29 pm

Not exactly a new member of the forums, but this here is my first post! My name is Ryan, my wife and I have been wanting a Tamaskan for quite some time now and so I joined the forums here a little while ago to read and learn about them as much as I could. I am VERY excited to say that we recently became accepted for a new Tamaskan pup from the recent litter at Tarheel! We'll be getting a girl, not sure which one yet and can't wait to find out! So, I figured I'd say hello to you all as I'll definitely be hanging around a lot on here now that we'll actually be getting one!! From what reading Ive done on here thus far, this is a very great forum with a lot of knowledge and information, and I look forward to contributing and having fun on here!

Congrats on your pup! And welcome. I am getting a brother to your puppy and think we should keep in touch, share photos etc. I was so happy to be accepted and even luckier that my daughter who lives in Madison, wi. Will be graduating June 14th, so I can bring him to the show on the 15th. If you want to take a vacation, the show sounds like fun. (I don't know which male I am getting either) but happy to meet an uncle to my impending pup! Don't forget to post pics after :)

Welcome (sort of) neighbor! As another on the "seems like forever just because we're so close" list - congratulations and I'm sure we will have the opportunity to talk along the way.

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody! The puppies just entered week 3, so in about a week we will know which adorable girl will be ours! We're extremely excited to find out! I'll definitely be active on this forum a lot, and if there's one thing you should know about my wife and I...is we LOVE taking pictures. So, have no fear, I'll be posting a lot of pics! :D

Hello Joy, congrats to you as well on your pup! That's awesome that you're getting a brother to mine! We definitely must keep in touch and share photos and all! And you're right, it sure is a great feeling to be lucky enough to get accepted! I'm sure we'll even be bringing ours back down to Tarheel every now-and-then in the future, and seeing as you're not too far away, who knows maybe they will get to see each other sometime. Can't wait to see pics of your puppy as well!

Thank you, and yes absolutely I'm sure we'll get to chat along the way. Gaithersburg I consider a neighbor haha. Especially when you consider how spread-out most members on here are!
