Hello from Wisconsin!
Hi everyone, i'm new here and checking out the site. Been looking for a dog for a few months now. Our previous dog was a husky who died at 13 from cancer. I have been doing a bit of research on Tamaskans and I feel like they would be a great fit for our family. My wife and I have two adult children living with us for now hopefully along with Diesel our other dog, a Shepherd/Husky mix. I thought this would be a great place to get some more information on the breed and learn from current Tamaskan owners. Thanks for any help.

Hi, welcome to the forum! If you can, I reccomend visiting Moondance Tamaskan in Madison, WI. Be careful though, you will become addicted to this breed

I am having trouble finding any information on adopting a rescue Tamaskan. Any reason for that? Could use some help. Thanks

Re: Hello from Wisconsin!
Tamaskans do not often end up in rescue. The breed is still new and growning, and breeders do their best to ensure the right homes are matched up. Sometimes though things don't work out, most times they go back to their breeder as their contract requires.bt2413 wrote:I am having trouble finding any information on adopting a rescue Tamaskan.
