Hello from Connecticut

Post by fangsinthefog » Tue Nov 14, 2017 7:37 pm

Hello!

I'm Evan, a freelance pet portrait artist and on my way down a career in companion animal training, behaviour, and welfare. While I currently live in Connecticut, I do plan on moving to England when I have the finances for it.

At the moment I have a border collie x siberian husky named Shuck, who is 1 and a half years old. We are starting on our canine parkour routine and plan on doing more with his trick training, barn hunt, and agility! My girlfriend is heavily involved in Siberians and plans on adding one to the family, so bikejoring/canicross/mushing is probable for every dog that lives with us!

I have been working my way through researching pedigrees, lines, and basically anything I can get my hands on regarding Tamaskans and hope to have one as my service dog in the near future and am talking to two breeders about it at the moment. I figured to join in here and partake in discussion to get the most out of the community experience.

I would love to hear any differences you have found, physically and temperamentally, between various lines where experience applies! I look forward to learning more about how everyone plans on keeping the diversity pool, well, diverse and what breeds are being included in such endeavors.

Best,
Evan
