Hi from The Netherlands!
I just registered to this forum, so please let me introduce myself =)
I'm Daisy and I live with my 8yr old daughter and Drogo the 6yr old cat, which seems to be a little puppy born in a catsuit.
For a long-long time a wanted to give home to a dog, and the urge is getting bigger and bigger lately.
Sometimes you just know when the time is right or coming, huh =)
My wish is to give home to a wolfdog someday, if that would and could be according to the needs of the wolfdog, otherwise I won't. The reason I want this is because I am a huge lover of wolves since I was a teenager. I've visited real wolves in a wolf sanctuary multiple times and I feel so connected to them.
But I'm a beginner with dogs so before even considering a wolfdog, the first step is to get experienced with having a dog.
I've been doing a lot of research in the different breeds and I didn't look any further when I saw the Tamaskan. The wolf-lookalike but with the characteristics of a dog. So I digged into the Tamaskan, gathered a lot of info and the more I read, the more I fell in love. Because I never met a Tamaskan in real life I am going to visit a breeder to get introduced with the Tamaskan this Sunday and I am going on an organized Tamaskan walk on the beach in January.
So besides all the info on the internet it would be so helpful to read amongst this forum of actually owners and breeders of Tamaskans and how the experiences are etcetera. To learn even more about this beautiful breed.
So thank you all in advance for all the info! I'm going to start reading this forum ^_^

Welcome
how did your Tamaskan beach walk go? I am envious. I live in Australia and happen to be on the opposite coast from our two Tamaskan breeders in the country. Although I did get to meet one of Kylie’s tam babies. Sigh, that was awesome.
