Bruno

Post by claireyclaire » Sat May 21, 2011 9:45 pm

My beautiful 12.5yr old GSDx Bruno told us on Friday night that he was tired and didn't want to be in pain anymore, so we cuddled him and kissed him goodnight and made the pain go away.

I am devastated he was our wedding present to each other, we married at the beginning of September and he found us at the RSPCA in October, dumped outside the gates at 8wks old covered in fleas. They asked us if we would foster him, we agreed to but only for 2 weeks, we really wanted a spaniel..... we never took him back!

I'm so sorry for your loss... :( He seemed like such a sweet, once in a lifetime, kind of dog.

So sorry to read this. He looked to be a lovely handsome boy and I am sure you and your girls will miss him very much. How lovely though that you gave him such a great life after such a difficult start to it. RIP Bruno xxx

We are so sorry to hear about big Bru, He was a lovely boy with big heart. This is the worst time for anyone who really love these special friends we share our lives with ,and sadly the high price we have pay for the uncoditional love and huge part they play in our lives.

Wish there was a way to make pain go away for you both and everyone that Bru touched in his own special way. Take heart and comfort knowing you gave him a long , full and happy life.

Annette and I will be here for you when you need us. It has been a pivilege to have known Bru, and have you as freinds.

Will be in touch very soon x.

Gary, Annette Hearn.

So sorry to hear about Bruno, RIP......
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,

And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

So sorry to hear this news Claire. I had the pleasure of meeting Bruno before Claire got her Tamaskans and he was such a lovely boy. I know only too well the pain you are going through and my thoughts are with you at this sad time.

Claire, I was so sorry to hear that you had lost your long time friend and companion. I know he must have had a wonderful life with you and despite his bad start has had a long and happy time with you. You have done the last kind thing you could for him and I'm sure he thanks you for it. He will be waiting for you at Rainbow Bridge. x

Thank you all for your kind words, they mean so much. It is going to take time to adjust to life without Bru, but he brought us so much happiness we can't help but smile, even when we are bawling our eyes out!

Many people don't understand the loss and grief you experience when you lose a much loved pet, but we are all so lucky knowing that we can always rely on the Worldwide Tamaskan community to help pick us up when we are feeling low and share the good times too.

Thanks guys :)
