Tamaskan female puppy 16 weeks

Not sure if I should post it here or in the rescue section...
I think Alba had a litter very recently so maybe it's a pup from Liz.

Is it real? Why aren't they giving her bk to the breeder?

oh no! not gumtree. they don't do well with the sale of animals. underage baby selling, selling rescue's, allowing the sale of dogs adveritsed for hunting... even in china, the sale of wild 'big' cats and chimps.

could they not take back to the breeder? hope she finds a nic forever home :(

But what papers could Liz supply the owner with?

Has anyone contacted the seller?

The person who is selling obviously wants to sell the puppy to get their (or some of their) money back. If the pup goes back the breeder I doubt if they get any money back, unless there was something actually wrong with the puppy, which it doesnt sound like there is in this case. Poor little girl

Poor girl, I wonder if it actually is a Tamaskan Puppy :| If that's the case they should just return her to the breeder

But don't all breeders sell their pups with the condition that they be returned if anything happens and the person can't have them anymore?

Knowing Liz and if the pup is from her, I'm sure she would take her back. Unfortunately it seems even if a contract is signed, some people will not follow it. They also may be doing it this way so can get money out of it, poor girl :(

If I could, I would buy her and rescue her <3

Just an update on this puppy. I spoke at length today with the seller. Pup
just 16 weeks and finished her puppy shots. She is an Alba (Liz) puppy and seller has contacted Liz but Liz refused to take puppy back unless she was 'free'. Personally this is not acceptable from a breeder. At 16 wks
a refund could easily have been given and if not then Liz could have resold the
puppy and then refunded. It would be different of course if puppy was older.
Seller has to part with her on the grounds that her mother is allergic to her. This is what I was told anyway. If anyone on here is interested in her I suggest that they call the seller on the number advertised. Puppy is out of Alba Lycaon to ....Sire... Sunson at Alba. (This is a Northern Inuit) She is not TDR registered of course.
Seller wants just £400 for her. I would hope that she finds a good home soon.

Thanks for the update Lynn! I can understand that the breeder doesn't want to give all the money back but for a pup that is still so young I would also give part of the money back.. I would still feel responsible and would like to rehome the pup myself then so I know where she will end up.

I hope she will find a good home soon.

I think they mean the breeder did not want to refund the owner to get the puppy back.

My sentiments exactly. I would want to know exactly where my pup was at
all times.

it's a Tamaskan mix then?
well 400£ isn't bad for a puppy this young if you didn't want to breed anyways :)

I too wanted to know where my pups were at all times. And I probably would have made a (smaller) refund just to get the puppy back.
I am guessing that Liz might not have that many people lining up to get a puppy from her, since she is not breeding by any "real" papers any more.
Ells I can't see any reasoning in not taking a pup home and selling it to a new home again (maybe even making a little more profit on it.. )
