There’s a battle between two wolves inside us all.
One is Evil. It’s anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies and ego.
The other is Good. It’s joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness and truth.

The wolf that wins? The one you feed!

You don't have to have a tam to come do you? I'd love to get to see them in person :D

The Tamaskan shows are a great way for anyone interested in the breed to find out if it is the dog for them. Meeting so many Tams you will soon know if you love them or not, but be prepared to LOVE them and want one NOW

Would it be difficult to get time to speak with some of the breeders and meet their dogs at the show?

Some of you who may be attending may not be on Facebook. I have requested information about attending dogs. If you are not, please PM me a message if you are bringing a dog to the show. Please provide the dog's name, age and sex. This will help us determine classes.

I'd love to go, but I'll be in Kentucky taking care of 3 litters of Lab pups. No free time for a couple of months! :)

Anyways, I look forward to seeing the pictures, videos and results!

Possibly, but the economics of that for two people and one dog might not turn out to be very favorable at the moment. So many darn bills. :x Doesn't hurt to look into it though.

Just teasing--but we're driving from Harrisburg, PA--no short drive either: 15 hours.

Oddly enough, I think the biggest problem with a drive that long would be finding a fish sitter that could come every day. When we went to pick up Kumho, we were gone for 4 days and one of the chromis tried his best to kill one of the other ones. We don't really know our neighbors that well since we've only been in this house for six months and it seems all of our co-workers live in the opposite direction from us. Maybe if I could convince my fiance (since he'd be the one doing all the driving  ), we could work something out. He looked at me funny the first time I told him it was in Madison.

I really wish I could go, wanted to go last year but hubby was working 40+ hrs and they wouldn't let him take time off. This year we're still trying to find a job and that's not going to well :S Maybe next year I'll be able to make it *crosses fingers*

Just a quick reminder that the US Tamaskan show is at the end of the month!! This year's show promises to be an exciting one. We have a great day of activities planned. We have Tamaskans, lots of food and a Tamaskan cake (for people)!!

The day's events include an official photographer, the show judged an experienced northern breed AKC judge/breeder, informative session on choosing pet foods, raffle with lots of great prizes, an NTCA membership drive and more.

We hope to see you there!!

My husband and I will absolutely be there with Paka. And it's starting to look like my daughter can come with us too bringing Fable. (We will know for sure Monday but it looks very favorable.

On final semester of undergrad college and I don't want to fail either but I as a Theravada bless you all in Blaze's, Tundra's, and Nusia's names that you will all have an exciting experience and they will be watching everyone at the event.

Remember, Alpha Male is ALWAYS watching, don't mess with Blaze! :D

I already finished packing Zephyr's, backpack... All he will need is a good bath now. As for me I am half packed, but I have the car ready with all GPS stops including several food places I haven't gotten to eat for a few years. I got the Tam cake planned out and it will be picking it up before I hit the road early early Friday.

There’s a battle between two wolves inside us all.
One is Evil. It’s anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies and ego.
The other is Good. It’s joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness and truth.

The wolf that wins? The one you feed!

~ Cherokee Proverb
