Rare Breed Club of Southwestern Ontario

Post by Hawthorne » Wed Jul 11, 2012 7:46 pm

:D

If you're interested in showing your Tamaskan Dog at a much larger show, or perhaps want to pursue Finished Champion status for your Tam, consider the Rare Breed Club of Southwestern Ontario. They have several events every year and their next show is coming up in mid-August.

Website here: http://rbcswo.hypermart.net/index.htm

I was invited by another rare breed dog breeder (Shiloh Shepherds) to participate. She also does Temperament Testing and has offered to TT our dogs while we're there. I don't know if we can make it to the August show--but if you're interested in showing too, PM me and perhaps we can have a mini-meetup :D

bark as if no one can hear you
catch the ball on the fly
lick like there's no end to kissing
sleep on a sofa nearby
jump like the sky is the limit
sit by the fire with friends
stay with the ones who love you
run like the road never ends

There’s a battle between two wolves inside us all.
One is Evil. It’s anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies and ego.
The other is Good. It’s joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness and truth.

The wolf that wins? The one you feed!

Us too. I think it might take too long to process to make it to the next show. It's *just* over the NY border...

Go do it! You'll never regret getting a passport and then you can travel anywhere, anytime! :D
Processing doesn't take tooooo long (2 weeks max) and you can pay extra to have it processed faster (within a few days).

No excuses!

Passport can take 90 days in USA unless you wanna pay and extra 100 dollars for a rush delivery and it will be here in 30 days. i cant afford making it to this show but maybe in the next year I can do this once. Wish there were more tam owners in my town so we could car poll.

Ohh, I wish I could go there, I got two dogs from two different breeds that I could suscribe! Too bad it is a bit too far away for me. :(

OMG that's crazy! :?
Does the US government not want its citizens to travel outside US borders? I can't understand why it takes so long to process. Here in Europe it takes around 2 weeks, or you can pay extra (around $100) to get it within a couple of days.

Same in aus. I waited unil two/three weeks before I left for England to get my passport (lazy I know) and I had it in time, didn't even have to pay the extra to rush it.

Hahaha. Travel anytime you want. Now that's a novel idea! Well, you're in Europe and we're in the states. :D

And yes, we have another issue with passports: not sure if we can get my step-son one. I think the biological mother has to sign. She's been MIA for over a year... But we'll try.

Up until a few years ago, you could get into Canada with just a birth certificate. Increased security changed all that... We always wanted to get back to ON. Would even consider moving there if I could find work :) The colder the better!

But yes, there is a show in August, then again in October. And it appears that the show moves around the SW Ontario area...so it's not always in the same place. I just want to go meet my friend Judi and have her TT our dogs. That's half the fun! :ugeek:
