Re: height of adult male Tamaskan
Skye looked pretty tall, but I have no clue what his height was. Skye was quite tall, but not huge... same with Jackal. I guess Nanuq vom Münsterland is the biggest Tamaskan at the moment. On the Tamaskan-Germany page it is said that he is 80 cm tall (31.4960629921") I do not know how actual this i...

I do not know how actual this is - he also can be a little bit bigger but to be sure you can ask Kirsten for this info.

Re: Are these dogs Tamaskan or a different breed?
I'm with balto 13 in this topic - I know that HiTenshi do not want to be rude. Dogs and breeding is always an emotional thing - and there is no way to speak really objectively about this topic if you are personally involved with a Tamaskan/Tamaskan mix or whatever. If blackthumps dogs are no purebre...

Re: Working on Attitudes Towards "Wolfdog" Owners
Also do not forget that many people import wolfdogs from America where in some areas it is allowed to own pure wolfes and breed them to dogs... If you go and pic them up you can change the papers and if you come back into the EU nobody can proof if your pup is a german shepherd mix or a high content...

My mum had to make that decission once, too. When I was 3 years old we moved from Berlin back down to Hessen, where the rest of our family resided. However, I will not be breeding the Grey wolf, coyote or their hybrid offsprings that I plan to raise to any of the Tamaskan dogs due to the wild nature of these animals as I have learned from my interactions with the Coywolves here in Ontario. I'll probably put off breeding of my future Tamaskans ...

I would never ever confuse Yarrow with a Black GSD... Yarrow looks much lighter in body with longer feet, without the sturdyness of a GDS. It is hard to describe it in english - he just looks more agile and his head shape still makes me thinks of an black wolf.

I don't know, if the owner would agree to make publicly announce, because there is nothing certain. Edit: As far as I understood Tana her owner wants to breed a litter from her, and the stud she is interested in using would be an outcross. This was just planning stages though, nothing set in stone yet. Yes, that is correct. First she must pass health tests (hips) and be DNA profiled. Then I am in...

Ann is ok with using her ANCD's as outcrosses as far as I'm aware. She also will start to build up an European ANCD breeding programm as soon as there are more ANCD here. Atm 1 ANCD (black) lives in Switzerland and 1 (white) in Germany.
