Re: Why do Tams from the US look different from ones in the

I agree with all of you, and I think climate is a HUGE factor. I have Naima and Kona, and we're in Los Angeles--where it rarely dips below 70 F. Compared to their other siblings, my girls' coats looks significantly shorter, even moreso now that it's summer. They definitely don't have the opportunit...

Re: Does anybody know if this really is a Tamaskan Dog?

Didn't think my comment was rude at all. The dog has a very pronounced stop, tall ears, and rounder eyes. It looks very doggy.

Re: Does anybody know if this really is a Tamaskan Dog?

It looks very wolfy. I was wondering if it was a Tamaskan dog, one of those scam Tamaskan Wolfdogs, or something else? It's on wikipedia and they always say to take anything on wikipedia with a grain of salt. (Btw, yes it's where I got my avvie from. It's in the public domain. I unfortunatey don't ...

Re: SUGALBA LITTER

I'm wondering if I should just get a pup from RPK at this point. This seems like an unholy mess over here.

This years litters?

Hey just wondering who is having litters in the U.S. this year? I'm so in love with Tams...I think this is the year for me to get one of my own to raise and love. Any info would be helpful. Also if you can include approximate pricing that would help as well. I'm interested in a male.

Re: Tamaskans Size Compared to Actual Grey Wolves

These just don't look all that big especially in comparison to the human. So Tams are smaller than this? I can see some noticeable differences such as the straightness of the wolfs tail, the width of the face etc. I'm just trying to get a real good idea of the size of a fully grown male Tam. http://w...

Re: Dylan (Sugalba Pigs Might Fly)

Here are some recent picture of Dylan. He is 11 months old in the pictures. He is now 28 inches at the shoulder. At least that was the best we could get as he danced around when I tried to measure him :D How tall is Dylan now at the shoulders? Has he grown any? He's perfect looking. I'd love a pup ...

Re: TEETHING

Well I plan on giving him tons and tons of attention but when I'm at work unfortunately, none. I do however plan on leaving him with some rubber chew toys and rawhide bones to try and keep him away from the kitchen cabinets and wooden tables.

How tall is Kana? I want a pup from Kana, she should be the official Tam postergirl! She's got my vote!

Re: Tarheel Pack Intentionally Poisoned.

Sorry to bring such bad news to everyone, but the story needs to be told. :( Somebody or a couple people came into our backyard, probably after dark and while the dogs were inside, and placed a large bowl of fish laced with Antifreeze in an intentional act to kill the Tarheel dogs. All dogs are in ...

Re: Tamaskans Size Compared to Actual Grey Wolves

When i was at Blustag and Blufawn some weeks a go, its was my first real introduction to fullsize Tamaskans and I would say there can be quite a range. I saw some very large Tams and some not so large. I'll take lots pf photos at the UK Tamfest this weekend and try to get some sense of scale into t...

Tamaskans Size Compared to Actual Grey Wolves

So male Tams are supposed to grow to between 27-33" tall right? How tall are Grey Wolves? Are they similar in size or only in looks. And what are the differences in looks between the two? I'd like to hear what everyone here has to say on this topic. I get the feeling some of the info out there is mi...

TEETHING

I was wondering how everyones Tamaskans were as puppies during the teething process? I am currently renting and I don't really want to have to buy new furniture any time soon or buy my landlord new kitchen cabinets.

Oh that's terrific! Granada Hills is very close to where I live. How did the pup get all way here from the UK? Did the buyer come to the UK to pick it up?
