Re: Tamaskan Price?

I'm in a similar boat to you. I checked out the breeder's section on this forum - found the ones in my area and then looked up their website and reached out directly to them.

Re: Arrow

He's really nice looking! That's what we're all saying... lol. Would LOVE to see how his pups turn out.. @Hawthorne: Has Arrow been used for breeding before? If he's got some pups on the ground, I'd be interested to see how they've developed. ;) I'll let Hawthorne answer definatively, but his birth...

Re: Arrow

Thanks for your compliments. He was pre-approved by the TDR pending health testing. I very much appreciate the TDR giving "pre-approval pending health testing" so that I wasn't wasting my money on his health testing. I submitted a rather long proposal listing his attributes and faults and what I th...

Re: Arrow

I agree that Arrow is beautiful. And if his temperament is that good then he sounds great! I realize that Pannus worries those looking to improve the breed. And I’ll leave the breeding to the professionals :D But if anyone wants a real experience of a dog with Pannus, I have a greyhound with Pannus ...

Re: Nails--How short is too short

My female greyhound HATES to have her nails cut. With the repaired leg I understand. So my fiancee holds her on the couch and covers her eyes while snuggling her and I use the grinder on her. If she can't see it she accepts it. Very bizarre. I personally think she just wants to be held. Little Hussy...

Malkuth

So I wanted to post a pic or two... Here's one of my shepherd mix Malkuth. It's a few years ago so she's a touch greyer and a bit more lumpy. But still just as pretty.

Re: Hi From Delaware – US

Thanks for the input Mark! I'll be sure to continue my research then. Sounds like he has no issues with interacting with the Whippet which is good.
So far it's been fun poking around the forum.

Re: Nails--How short is too short

I use a grinder. One trick my own nail tech taught me is that if you grind the nail for a few seconds and then press down on the fresh grind with your finger tip it leaches the heat right out of the nail very quickly. Don't go back to it immediately with the grinder but it gives you a good idea how ...

wow, you are a dog angel. you deserve a Tamaskan. a big welcome to the forum Ha! I firmly believe they "saved" me. Not the other way around. Thanks for the welcome! And I wouldn't ask the critters in the back yard about our angel status... My whole pack have been fairly high prey dogs. They've caug...

Hi From Delaware – US

Hi, My name is Julie and I just joined. Right now I’m just beginning my journey to owning a Tamaskan. So I registered to begin digging and doing some research. I’ve never in my life gotten a breeder dog. We’ve always rescued or adopted. 13 years ago my boyfriend at the time said he’d found wolf hybr...
