Re: Low Confidence? Fearfulness? Nervy?
I have met many adult Tamaskan (over 100) and I do not recognize this: 'extremely nervy. Fearful of people and new situations, prone to bolting if off lead, lots and lots of anxiety.' There's a handful of individuals that I know that could be called nervous/fearfull, but the majority is social and f...

Update:
Blustag Lightning Strike (Leo), from the 2nd Susi x Jackal litter, sadly passed away this month at only 6,5 years of age. He had been having seizures at roughly monthly intervals for 3,5 years.

Re: To spay or not not spay? Need help!
Hi, I would not spay so young. I believe the advice to spay before 1st heat cycle is very outdated. Newer research shows it is better to let the dog mature first. So for Tamaskan this would be around 3 years of age. Also just because you don't want to breed her does not mean you must spay. There's h...

'We' were hoping for a nice mix. Dogs with long legs but a bit more bulk than purebred Groenendael, good sized ears, straight tails, nice slender muzzles but a bit less extreme as Groenendael. I think all of them turned out really nice and as we hoped! As for the colour, we expected (and hoped for!)...

Moonstone was never a part of the TBA as far as I know, they stopped breeding before the TBA was founded. There's a lot of different opinions on what the 'purpose' of the breed should be.
