When I got shadow.....he had been fed off a plate..on scrapps....so a new name ..extrodinary because he was so like Rhanna...in character and demenour ...so he became Rann as souned like rarn......then rann as ran.....he loves his name ..so...

Some northern american wolves have longer and silkier hair than others...but basically the top coat of guard hairs should be tough which should be water repellant...also having a short tight undercoat which moults in tufts.....this undercoat stops the water getting through to the skin...a wolly soft...

It is reckond in some breeds that merle breeding may eventually be banned because of the health issues this country is now disallowing merle to merle...

Any way ..yes i understood .....your dna on rough and smooth..... but other people .....do not ..so was explaining in simple terms for new comers .....am not in competion on who can put over the best dna,,I had already explained in simple terms that the rest of the generation count in terms of DNA ....

merle to merle can produces blind puppies in england sable does not carry the blue ....will never produce a blue unless mated with a blue as already explained and this is a muddy sable blue. so never is done and blues cannot produces sables. unless with sable and it will be the same muddy colours go...

if you breed two smooth collies and there is rough further in the pedigree it can crop up the same with a rough.and smooth is behind. i mated brelo forever loyal a sable to a sable sire sindalyn star aquarius a sable and got one tri dog....the rest sable my bitches where shaded sables ie black guard...

not in temperament ..I was just explaining temperament in them...I would not use them because of the physical and coat problems and health issue, but a lot do have unpredictable temperaments....and you would need to see a few generations of that particular dog to make sure they where all happy.....i...

Again i will say collies have been used before in inuits and utonagons... collies temperaments..reserved .....till they get to know you..sensitive.....a very mixed bag..some happy temperaments some very nasty ones to...and some that are reserved that the wont fetch or play with a toy etc because too...

the collies ears are prick and pointed and too close together to use..the will not catch the same sound in the same way as the arctic breed although the are good...i lived and breathed the collie... and the smooth coliie will give you short coats.. that is my last on it

the collie needed the coat ..weather resisting to cope with extreme weather....yes they were good with sheep ...remember they came from the uk,that means harsh on top...not the soft coats of to day

sorry you laughed.... my collies I put on was a crufts coliie and not a modern collie ...if you knew anything at all about the collie then you would see it had a fitting coat with correct undercoat...you would have noticed....that it was not a modern fluffy stuffy....Ch ramsey of rokeby and Ch damer...

Look please forget the rough and smooth collie ... the Borzoi dog was used in the rough collie to make the head...longer.... And still to day this can be seen...in the collie .rough and smooth.....Its called a receding head.... above the eyes .....ie it is bumpy and then the back skull slopes back.....

BVA are good and do give you the certificate of course.....I got to see ranns xrays and the vet was most pleased with them...Its for the stud dog owner to show their certificate to an incoming mating bitch...as with other health ....etc.....I would say ..that they could be made available to people t...

Rough collies have aready been used in utonagons and inuits.,..it does not work! I still have one collie left in partnership with my ex....a show collie....I have worked them in obedience competion so know them very well after 33 years with...them showing them.... I have bred and shown Rough collies and smooth for 33 years ......they are not the same collie as years ago......both american and english lines now would be totally unsuitable....for health conformation and ears...etc temperament .. you either want a wolf look alike or not..the only two skulls that...

Yes that is true....some do a free return service if no pups......and does depend on the agreement ....of course she always says no money.. Yes many skin problems can be caused by crops; crop spraying..carried in the wind..so causing rashes and nose problems...you can always put vaseline on the dogs noses and slightly inside this helps prevent some of the problems so the vet told me..rough collies suffer from this..and it did help mine....

I dont see any milage ...ie any point in studying them though...lets just get on with the lovely tamaskan breed .... as for genetic tests .....whats the point ....hybrids need special care and attention in husbandry and training...not many people would not be able to cope ...or have the facility...t...

Yes they changed the name to independant etc........
they deleted northern off the inuit .because the northern inuit people were not very happy at a all......so they are now inuits with a new body name in independant name etc...they also have a timber dog included...

Yes the Tamaskan is a lovely breed of dog...and is doing very nicely and have good breeders listed as TDR breeders who care very much about the welfare of the breed ...very much....
