I have never needed to clip my dog's nails - she trims them by using them:] Also for trimming them I found that running on asphalt road by the bike works best.

We don't know what happened, even our breeder, who came to check the litter, said she could see nothing wrong with the dead puppy - not herpes, no stuck airways, no injury, no swelling.
