The eye drops are: Tobramycin Ophthalmic Solution, USP Ah yes, the antibacterial standby when dealing with eye infections. Good stuff. Woe will be the day if things ever start becoming resistant to it. Thank you! Maccons eye will always be dark.. but I don't care as long as he is healthy :? Good he...

Re: eye infection
From what you describe with Freya, sounds a lot like a viral conjuctivitis or allergic conjunctivitis. I have an allergic conjunctivitis to something that I can't figure out since it doesn't happen very often, but I get the same itchy, pink, puffy, watery eyes. I'm willing to bet the vet gave you a...

Re: Does anybody know if this really is a Tamaskan Dog?
I think we all see this differently.. Some see "wolf" in Maccon and some don't... it's in the eye of the beholder. I don't see any wolf in these CsW exept from the ones with "more wolfblood" like Emba von der Wolfsranch. They must be closer to the wolf that F5? The CsW and Saarloos I've seen in Swed...

Re: eye infection
Oh no, Susann! I'm sorry to hear about your boy. Our vet said the infection could cause a number of things: first of all it makes their eyes itchy, so the dogs can eventually scratch their cornea. The vet did an eye stain to make sure her eyes were okay ($30 just for the eye stain). Then, the vet a...

Thanks. The eye drops the vet gave us seem to be working already. I just wanted to post because I wasn't sure at first if it was an allergic reaction or an eye infection. So for others reading--the symptoms above are indicative of an eye infection and medical attention is needed!! Maccon got an inf...

Så synd med Sølve, hun er jo så nydelig! Merker du at hun har hofte-problemer eller er det kun undersøkelser som kan se det? Sweden is not at risk when talking about Rabies (that's why it have been easier to import from Sweden).. From what I understand, they are sensitive to vaccines, too, specifically the rabies vaccine. Anyone know more info on this? Great skull.. big
The first, second (and third) tooth behind the canines is the teeth the vet was talking about. She said that these teeth are the ones that are tiny on dogs and bigger (like the teeth on the skull) on wolfs.

That's an interesting question. I don't know the answer, but I do have a gray wolf skull here (from Alaska) that I could photograph and post. is there a different between molars when it comes to dogs (tamaskans) vs wolves?
Someone told us that dogs molars are tiny... and a wolfs molars are bigger.
There are a big different between Maccons and Midas molars..
