Re: ''Volga Wolfhound'' scam --- Actually Tamaskans?

I know eh? I will attach a picture of one of his ''volga wolfhounds'' who looks pretty much like a Malamute cross to me. All the dogs are SO different, from one individual to another; some have narrow faces, longer and wider muzzles, and longer, pointier ears, while others have a more ''wolfy'' look...

Re: ''Volga Wolfhound'' scam --- Actually Tamaskans?

He sure is one! Ontario doesn't even allow low content wolfdogs, so if his animals really are what he claims them to be... that guy's in trouble, and could be reported anytime. But I wouldn't want the animals to be put down because of his stupidity, so I'll just keep this to myself. And we still hav...

''Volga Wolfhound'' scam --- Actually Tamaskans?

A while ago I stumbled across and ad advertising for a particular breed of ''wolfdogs'' for sale. The 'breeder' is one guy called Mark Dorey, who resides in Ontario. I was interested to purchase one of his animals, started driving to place a deposit but got lost on my way there, and had to go back h...

Re: Russian "Tame Foxes"

Tiantai: Silver foxes are NOT a subspecie of the red fox. They are NOT. They are the same specie, only with a different coat color (and this is valid for ALL other fox color morphs, seen here www.thefriendlyfox.webs.com/color-variations). Just like for Labradors; they can be golden, black or chocola...

Re: Russian "Tame Foxes"

The girl who runs www.thedomesticfox.com is not a scam, she is the first american to have ever imported a Russian Domestic fox. Her name is Kay. I would love to get a Russian Domestic fox one day, even tho I breed domestic foxes myself. The ''georgian white'' Russian foxes (all white with black spot...

Re: Russian "Tame Foxes"

Basically there were two groups, one bred for aggression and the other for tameness, it was the foxes that were in between those two that were killed for fur. Was it really like that? I was under the impression that they bred one group for tameness, and the other one they just ignored the temperame...

People like this should be killed by their own dogs, that they used to kill that poor, terrified wolf. If I would've been there, I wouldn't have been afraid to beat of one these idiots to -near- death, and I'm a girl....... these kind of things, totally pointless animal abuse, over a poor innocent a...

Re: Russian "Tame Foxes"

Also, Russian domestic foxes from the Institute of Cytology and Genetics started showing changes in their morphology AND coloration! From the 6 colors that originally existed in foxes (red, silver, black, white, cross, beige) now there are over 50! Apparently, it's due to an early migration of the m...

New Guinea Singing Dog

After researching about these dogs for about 2-3 years (and loving them all my life)! I finally have the chance to get one of my own. Next week, or in two weeks, a baby Guinea Dingo will become part of our family. It will be one of the typical ''orange'' colored ones, gender unknown yet as I don't r...

So I've been flattering the idea of owning a dingo or a New Guinea singing dog one day. Well now, my dream may have the chance to come true! This little guy here is for sale, he was listed exactly 1 month and 2 days ago. I really, really hope he hasn't been sold yet. I will call the guy who listed t...

Re: Greetings from Quebec, Canada!

Forgot to specify, that little girl in the picture posted above was Kira, my associate's beloved marble fox (vulpes vulpes, still of the red fox specie, but different color). I never got the chance to meet this girl, as she passed away this spring. But I only heard great things about her, and she'll...

I would have written a huge paragraph, a whole book actually. She was just so special. But I've written about it way to many times to do it again. He is one very cute dog! He looks like he has some shiba inu in him... it's rare to find stray dog so beautiful in Romania, he must've been someone's pet who escaped, or was abandoned. I grew up in Romania, and never saw a stray dog so beautiful. Did you find him when he was a pup?

I plan on adopting a wolfdog in the future, f...
