Poppy

Someone posted her for sale on the fb pet group I admin and I was watching this girl carefully... At the minute, she is my foster cat. Her owner needed to re-home her because she had a habit of peeing on the sofa whenever the dog got on (and she pee'd on her dog). But she was having an issue finding...

Could diet have anything to do with increased fur loss? Just curious... Just seem's weird. I think it does. When our SWS was on kibble we vacuumed the hous every day en at the end of the day it already looked like a snow globe ( SWS are known for shedding a lot). We brushed her 2 a week with the fu...

Re: Flea/Tick/Biting Bugs Repellants/Preventatives

I've been on the lookout for new flea/tick stuff... Frontline hasn't worked for a lot of people this year and i've had 4 infestations... my poor son had over 25 bites on 1 leg alone, i stopped counting the rest of his body (cats sleep in his bed)... I have been advised on various toxins but i'm look...

My boy's shedding is bizarre lately... He sheds evenly during summer, daily brushing is needed (GSD only needed weekly grooming). But now it's the end of summer, it's considerably cooler than it was but he now needs brushing 3 times a day or he ends up with those fur tufts sticking up... After a 4 h...

Like Rahne said, my initial view came from the media portrayal but, the media always reports the bad because good news doesn't spread as well. I don't think any bridges were burnt... People like the honesty and, like Balto13, i thought it was a good comparison and one i often thought of my self... A...

I have personally had a rethink since this old thread started. I have learned and grown some more... My main point for having a rethink is, there is animal cruelty al...

Re: Raw feeders - puppy question

People usually start pups on 10% of body weight but i'd also start at 8%. When they reach adult, 2% if your dog is over weight,
2.5% - 3% to maintain present weight...

I found this helpful to get the right %-kg weight...

Re: Alaskan Noble Companion Dog (ANCD)

Even if wolfdogs were obviously used to make the ANCD, they are some very low content wolfdogs. And the breeder is working a lot to socialize the pups, with only one litter at a time. So no, even if she lied, there is no harm done and she isn't a second Lynn. Yeah! I was going to say that as well. ...
