Imo, unless there is a medical reason, I find supplements to be unnecessary, for dogs and humans.

Re: Ratliff has stolen a J&J Tamaskan dog

As much as it isn't right what has happened, it isn't stealing. It's sneaky and deceptive, but not theft. I presume that the price of the puppy was paid in full? If so, then I suspect that by law the puppy was legally hers to do what she pleased with, including selling, rehoming, and otherwise trans...

Could also be that he feels insecure and is marking to reassure himself.
What's his behaviour like in general around the house? Has anything changed with the environment or yourself that might be unsettling him?
Some dogs go through another fear period around that age, could be related?

Re: New outcrosses?

As the owner of a livestock guarding breed, I'd suggest adding such could be a potential disaster. I believe I mentioned my own breed earlier in the thread for a bit of a joke. Cato is an Estrela mountain dog for those who don't know, and even though many have had the extreme guarding tempered a bit...

Hope you manage to resolve the issue, there are good suggestions on here. Cato at 13 months, is now starting to display guarding behaviour, given his breed, this hasn't exactly come as a surprise, I've almost been waiting for it to make itself known. You might be able to find an owner with a suitable dog, who is prepared to health test etc. Don't know how easy it'll be though.
The founder breeder isn't one I'd buy a dog from, the other one I'm still figuring out.
They did have a forum, not sure if it's still there, or how active it is.
