Re: Danish zoo kills healthy giraffe, feeds body to lions

I couldn't agree more. Many zoos these day operate from a money-making root so to the point that it becomes expensive and if they cannot provide the right shelter or keep up with the animal's needs, there is bound to be some unfortunate events.

I think much of the reaction was sparked by the fact that they demonstrated this in front of outsiders, kids included. It is a crazy case nonetheless :?

Hey guys, so I was told by Jacqueline on facebook and got excited when I heard the news that Kirsten and Karsten had managed to rescue Timba, the daughter of Summer and Bobbi who was originally bought by Blustag. Lynn - who is a notorious puppy miller - had decided to rehome Timba. Thanks to the eff...

In addition to Debby's summary, BOTH Blustags, the one in the UK and the one in NC have long been guilty of sneaking ACTUAL WOLFDOGS into the genepools of the dogs they have bred.

I am really skeptical about this research... did they take wind direction into account? I fail to see why Liz would think that two puppies would be less work.
