Re: UC Davis test results summary

Well considering that dogs and Grey wolves are the same species anyway, I do often question the results especially when the UC papers do not give a percentage number but just says either the dog is positive or negative for recent wolf-contents. Although the Grey wolves have countless genetically dis...

Re: UC Davis test results summary

I don't think analyzing chupacabra DNA gives them credibility. On the contrary. I thought most of those animals were just coyotes suffering from mange. :/ Well I'm not saying that it gives them credibility for testing wolf-content in suspected wolfdogs. Rather just that they were able to detect wol...

Re: UC Davis test results summary

Well the UC Davis has done more than just testing for North American wolf-content in suspected wolfdogs. In the past they have also analysized the genes of so-called "chupacabras" collected from various southern states. Most of these animals were infact coyotes mixed with the feral hairless dogs, so...

Re: Ratliff has stolen a J&J Tamaskan dog

I spoke with Judy and apparently she's afraid that she might not have a leg to stand if this case is to be brought to court. Especially since some of the informations come from Grave's ex-husband and the Ratliffs can easily just say that they bought the dog from Graves. But I hope that in the future...

Re: UC Davis test results summary

I've been told by some folks in the Wolfdog For Beginner group that some AKC huskies actually were tested and came out positive for wolf-content. Apparently a lot of people are skeptic about the wolf-content results and are taking these results with a grain of salt these days now. Considering that d...

Ratliff has stolen a J&J Tamaskan dog

So a few days ago on facebook a couple of people from the Tamaskan Truth 2.0 and Judy as well had reported in the debate group about the Ratliff couple who had previously tried on and off to acquire a dog from Judy and Jim in Virginia, sneakingly getting their hands on one of their dogs. Actually I found that the adult chihuahuas are usually more calm and less of a shelf-climbing weasel than the pups. I have personal experiences raising chihuahuas, most of them being relatives of my Buddy (1991-2011) and I found that while young they can be agile, a lot of the older ones like the pa...

However, I do think that first introductions between your current dog and your new dog are better off on neutral grounds before bringing them into the house. Sometimes when an...

Requirements for lookalikes in Online Shows?

I have a question about the rules for lookalikes dogs for online shows.

Other than looking very similar to the Tamaskan dogs, what other criteria are needed to allow them to participate?

Also, are semi-exotic low-content wolfdog crosses looking similar to Tamaskans allowed to take part?
