Rahne also posted on the group about the flaws with the "case-by-case" decisions for accidental litters where a fully registered dog managed to mate with a dog who is missing some health test results. I do agree that the whole case-by-case decision can, unfortunately, open rooms for personal biases ...

the database is not officially TDR database, so Rahne had to take off all the tamaskans of which she did not have permission to use. However, some people have given her permission to share their dogs info (Ben, Jo, Miran, ect). So, if you do not mind (hurray!!! :D ) sharing your pedigree info it wo...

According to what Miran told me on facebook, that won't be the case. Nova was originally planned for spaying but apparently the dogs had other plans in their mind :lol: Also, because Nova was never health tested at the time, the NTC have no plans to register any of the dogs as future outcrosses much...

You will need to send your updated infos on your dog to Rahne. Since the database was moved during the NTC's transition from the official website many information had to be returned to the TDR so Rahne does not have the permission to put up all of those infos on her current domain. She's actually pretty Tamaskan-like for a backcrossed-mix with recent pure German Shepherd heritage. It's too bad that she doesn't qualify for further backcrossing with any Tamaskan studs due to her origin being from an accident and that her mother was not vetted by the committee.

I get to meet quite a few rescued Greyhounds, all the ones I met have been so sweet and affectionate, very chill too. I believe that breed exists in the ANCD's background too. Obviously I explained the situation and gave her appropriate links, but at the end of the day other than the Blus, there is no-one actively breeding in the UK at the moment (other than Alba), so I'm afraid they will continue to sell their puppies :cry: :( Well whether the other UK Tamaskan breeders...

It's amazing how dogs always change colours as they age. First some of them look so Grey-wolfish as puppies but then they just turn completely different. Winter being an exception, having inherited Valko's cream coat through his mother.

There was this cream colour name Shanaska who is behind Sylka's line I think. I believe Regina gave me the full background but that post got lost after the old debate group got deleted which I suspect may have been by the Blu duo or one of their followers.
