Re: SUGALBA LITTER

:? it is solved. The mother of the litter is Nevada, as stated dozens of times before. Yes. And this is really all that matters. This way I can now truly look for a mate for Dylan and be sure that the bitch I select for him is the right one. It also reasurres me that I know who he is a match for in...

Re: Car-a-phobia

I, too, have a pup, so it may not help -- but I recently bought fresh chicken livers (yuck!), boiled them, then baked them in the oven for snacks. I have found that he will do just about anything for this snack ;) At obedience training a couple nights ago the owner of a rather large Golden Retriever...

I also noticed that you are in the Washington, DC area. My husband is retired and I still work 5 days a week (2 days from home), and hoping to retire in another year or two. I live in Frederick, MD and just recently adopted my first Tam. He is almost 5 months old and the sweetest, most laid-back pup...

Re: Raising Difficulty Compared To Others

After reading all the above, I have a couple questions. Background: My pup is 4 months old and I have not noticed any particular s/a with him, other than he does not like to go into the crate in the family room when I call him to it because he knows that means I'm leaving. I hear him bark for a coup...

Thanks to all for your kind responses, and . . . Tracy, just tellin' it the way it is -- for me ;) . As I said, I have been blessed with this wonderful boy -- and loving every minute with my Max. Thank you Tracy :!:

Re: Golden Litter Discussion

I have to agree with one of the above statements. Raven also is fine with new dogs. We took her to the pet store yesterday and she met a new dog who was twice her size. She began play-bowing right away. However, some dogs make her nervous while on our walks. If we pass a dog who is behind a fence a...

Re: Winter (Blustag Golden Boy)

Rahne, as I said on FB, he is one handsome boy. I also asked how this happened and if there was the possibility of a white litter, assuming a match could be found similar to Winter's parentage for breeding, and assuming you plan on breeding him. I believe someone answered that anymore white like Win...

I'm sorry to be so late seeing this post. I too am from Maryland and live in Frederick. I just recently adopted my male Tam, Max, from the Hawthorne litter (they also have two adult Tams, one of the litter pups, and an Australian shepherd mix rescue and are extremely dedicated to their dogs, and won...

Re: Tarheel Pack Intentionally Poisoned.

I just couldn't respond to this before now . . . every time I look at my Max I see Blaze, his Grandpa, and cry for John, Tina and their pack's loss. :`( Now I'm angry :x Such a senseless act of inhumanity. How remote can this act of violence on innocent dogs be from innocent children, or other human...

Re: Tarheel Pack Intentionally Poisoned.

I, for one, strongly believe that whether these cowards get caught by police or not they will pay, and dearly. Sometimes we just have to believe that, whatever your faith, a "higher" power will do what is necessary to eliminate this vermin from the face of the earth (hopefully in a very, very, painf...

I'm especially happy to hear that Tracy, as I'm getting one of your Yellowstone boys. I also mentioned maybe breeding him as well, with your help as we discussed, and maybe this chart will help us figure it out in the future:?

Oh no, she wouldn't want anybody to cry. She'd what everyone to be happy that she had (almost) 42 years of love and happiness. She had her horse, another smaller dog, and Rambler. She always felt no matter what happened in her personal (human) relationships, her family was complete and she was conte...

I know her family would be pleased that she touched so many of you with her stories and love for Rambler. Steph was a very special person to so many and will be missed terribly. Thanks to all of you for your warm welcome. This forum is just what I'm looking for - some funny, loving stories about the Tamaskan and their pet-owners (who's leader of the pack?? ;)). I know how animals can rule our lives! Of course, I'm still looking for my pup - so, I'll be looking to send appli...

Hello from Maryland USA

I just found out about this forum and just had to sign up. I too would very much like to add a Tamaskan to my family. I am close to retirement from my job and my husband is retired. We have 4 children and 4 grandchildren (hoping for more grandkids ;) . There is always someone showing up at our house...
