I hope her eyes wont get any darker now, I kinda like them as they are (they were lighter just a week ago - she is changing and growing lots atm.) I really love light eyes

Cannot say for sure, cause she is still only 10 weeks old and I don't know when they stop changing, but compared to her sister her eyes are much lighter it seems. I do hope they won't get any darker, I like them the way they are now

Sølve's eyes are a bit darker than I expected. I always remember her as being the blonde-haired blue-eyed baby

Perhaps its just the photos, does she have light eyes?

Sølve's eyes do differ a bit depending on the light.. she has light brown eyes with a squint of yellow in them I think
It's very hard to take pictures that show her real color I think, but these are okay close

I think it depends on the light. However, Jasper did have very dark eyes as a pup and they have gotten lighter with age. Vixen's eyes are very deep / dark red (like mahogany) whereas Jasper's eyes are more amber colored with a lighter ring of yellow near the center - it looks like N'Tala inherited Vixen's red eyes but also the lighter yellow center from Jasper. Very cool.

When pups eyes have a blue tinge like that it usually means that they will go light or yellow when they are older

I thought so too - but Sølve's eyes are darker than I thought.. but it can still change, just look at the Sylvaen pup

Some huskies have very light/yellow eyes..

although not much GDS or Malamute is in the Tamaskan - both can have yellow eyes too..

We had a bitch with yellow eyes and she was mated to a male with yellow eyes. Resulting puppies yellow eyes. The line with the yellow eye was exported out to USA which is why they have so many now with this colour. We have several here with the yellow eye from a different line and again this is reproducing.

but orange or amber eyes are cool too:)
as long as a dog has the wolfy look eye color isnt that important (shape of eyes (almond) is more important I think).

but I have to admit that yellow eyes are the cherry on the top of the cupcake ...

dont know the right speak in english:)
but it all depends on the individual look of the dog:)
i.e. timbers look is so much wolfy even without really yellow eyes. (I think her eyes are orange or red brown?)...

This is the best shot I've got at the moment of Tuskyn's eye up close. They tend to vary depending on the light, but day to day they're a light coppery brown. I assume this is the usual colour for Tamaskans? To be honest I'd not really thought about it, but it's interesting to see other Tamaskans eyes and to see the variety
