I am working with a dog trainer who has said that puppies under a certain age should not be working on the trick "roll over" she said that due to the lack of coordination that they don't tend to roll with their whole body so it can be "bad" for them. She didn't say it melodramatically as if their spines would fall to pieces, just more of that it's a trick that would be safer taught at an older age (much like some agility obstacle - jumping, ect). I had never heard this from a trainer before, is this just a wives tale or is it pretty widely accepted?
