Loki (Blustag Golden Moon)

Loki arrived in Toronto on Monday, March 26th and complained all the way home. He's doing a little less talking now, except when one of our other pets don't want to play with him. We fell in love with him instantly and were already asked by a couple of boys if he's a "wolf puppy"

. I'd swear he's already grown since he got here.

I hope these photos post ok as I've had a lot of trouble getting the file size down to one that the forum will accept. We can't wait to watch our little boy grow!

We're in Hamilton (for now) half-way between Toronto and Niagara Falls. You'll need awfully big pockets to sneak away with this guy

Not too many photos at all, he is soooooo cute, loved the one snuggled up with the cat. They grow so fast next week he will be bigger

Just a thought for you, try taking a photo every day of his face in the same position then when he is grown you can put them all together and watch him grow. I saw on telly where a dad did that with his daughter, and it was amazing.

Wow, beautiful pictures, I love his eyes! And his name too, funny that there are two Loki's now! I remember there is another, grown up, Loki too. Saw his picture at the Tamaskan facebook I believe. Popular name for a Tamaskan apparently and it fits them well.

I think there are four Tamaskan named Loki now

I like the name Loki, I had to search for a name that I wanted that a current Tamaskan didn't already have. I really wanted Kona, and then was thinking Lilly but...anyways! Loki suits this puppy very well, and what a cute puppy

Loki is definitely living up to his name. He has a case of "the grass is always greener" outlook and no matter what my other dog, a Shih Tzu named Bella has in her mouth, it's gotta be better than what he has. He'll steal a stick right out of her mouth and then drop it to take the new one she found. It's the same with toys or bones. Luckily Bella is very patient (even though she's just a 9 month old pup herself) and she knows that when Loki steals something from her, I will show her where she can find another one.
I've been absolutely amazed at how well my other animals and Loki have adjusted to each other. I have 3 cats as well and they aren't fazed the least by this new invader. I've taken so many photos and it's hard not to want to post them all

Never too many photos! Way to figure out the picture stuff with this forum - I've struggled with it and finally decided just to let Finch take over my facebook page - it's all videos and pictures of him now!

Maybe I'll try to upload some pics on here again...you've inspired me!

Thank you for that suggestion, Julie. I've started to do just that

Now for some MORE photos. I just can't help myself

These first two include my very over-groomed Shih Tzu, Bella. I'll be glad when her hair grows back so she doesn't need to wear a coat all the time. In the one pic, Loki is a little ticked because Bella went into his bed, which is really Bella's bed, but he's claimed all of them. Bella looks like she's giving him a raspberry as he's giving the bed a shake to get her out of it (amidst a whole lot of vocalization from him as well)

These were taken during our walk yesterday. He's already pretty good on a lead. I just have to keep Bella a little ahead of him and he follows quite nicely. Even my nine year old granddaughter had no trouble walking him.
