Freyja (Tarheel OBX litter)

Post by Hawthorne » Tue Jun 08, 2010 9:43 pm

I will try and post most of my previously posted photos. They're no longer on my computer--I had 8 GB of dog photos on my computer  Had to take them off...

Yes! I have about 4 TB of external hard drives--but they're for video (business). I really should break down and buy one for personal stuff.
For now, the pics are on a couple of DVDs. ;)

:D She is so pretty. I like the one where she's checking out the deer head, like she's wondering "where's the rest of it?" That tree is pretty awesome! Is that Asbury Woods part of a State Forest? I think I remember someone talking about that, do A lot of people get married there? Is there a lot of "old growth" there?

Thank you, and thank you to everyone.
Asbury Woods is the property of Millcreek Township School District! There is a nature center there where they bus the school kids in for science and nature lessons. Very cool stuff! That maple tree is estimated to be about 300 years old. There are patches of old growth around town, some in Asbury Woods, some in Scott Park--which is right on the bluff overlooking Presque Isle State Park.
No, we were the first and only people to get married there. We made our congregation of about 150 people hike 15 minutes into the woods to get to that location.  It was FANTASTIC!

here for you, the picture without the marks ;) (even if the tree will still be cut, but if it's well managed, it's not so bad for the forest, it allows the little trees to grow ;))[/img]
I could have do better but it would have been longer ;)
Oh, thanks Wen :D
I know cutting trees isn't all bad--it's just hard to watch when it's a place you grew up with and then all of a sudden all the trees are gone. And for purely selfish reasons, I'd rather hike in the shade.

Freyja looks so much like Tundra in this recent pic! A few of her puppy pictures reminded me of Blaze though. Nonetheless, Freyja is beautiful! <3

Wait, let me know if I'm reading this right: you want a pup from Freyja's parents? XD If so, then that was my top choice...unfortunately, not possible anymore. :( I'd still settle for a puppy from the OBX line. ;) *cough*yesidowantafreyjapuppy*cough*

No no no - I know thats not possible ;)
I want one from Freya, Wave or Kana (am I remembering her name correctly - the female that lives with Tarheel still)
Several of the dogs from that litter looks exactly or very well damn close to what I dreem about in a Tamaskan - though Wave is probably my favorite seing how he copes with a lot of stress - he must have a very strong personality!
I'd love to get a Wave*Sølve pup to be honest ;-)

Heh. I'd be interested to see a Wave x Sølve pup. ;) Though, I must admit one of the males from the OBX litter is what I ultimately want in terms of looks - deep red/grey & yellow eyes. :)

I'm really hoping Freyja's puppies will be very close to what I'm looking for in terms of coloring...temperament, I'm sure will be awesome as well. :3
