Cassidy (Sugalba Ham It Up)

Post by Tropicalbreeze » Thu Jul 29, 2010 11:42 am

Aloha from Hawaii!

Thought I would share a few pics of our new pup from Lynn. It was a long flight to Honolulu, well actually two flights and an overnight stop, but here is Cassidy.

Not the best...but it's all I had handy on my phone. I'll try to post more later.

She has a mellow, loving personality and bounced out of her crate without any hesitation. It's evident she came from great people! :D

Thanks or mahalo for the kind words. We love her! Such a sweet young puppy.

Although I must admit her howling/crying in her crate around 3 a.m. for her first sleep here last night...not loved so much...lol.

Hah! We'll have to upgrade to a California King size bed then...lol...

Maybe after the other dogs fully accept her into their territory.

Cassidy Round-2

Post by Tropicalbreeze » Tue Aug 17, 2010 10:24 pm

It's been a few weeks and Cassidy is now 11-weeks young.

In just this little amount of time, it's really amazing and fun to see how much she's changed.

Big paws getting bigger, more black coming out on coat (especially on her back), and of course legs getting longer and longer...lol...

She had her second round of shots yesterday and has put on just over 5-pounds.

But enough words...here are some of the most recent pics. Aloha!

At this rate it won't be long until she outgrows the Poms! ;)
So sorry to hear about Max though but at least Cassidy got a chance to meet/know him.

@ Syle - Yes we're glad she got to know Max too, albeit short. Max seemed to enjoy her company too. Maybe he knew he could turn over "Big Dog" duties to the young up and comer. ;)

@ Hi - Yeah I'm sure the Poms will love it when she dwarfs them...lol... It's funny because the white one and Cassidy play/wrestle all the time. But Alex, the brown one, has already established he's alpha. Alex will just snarl and Cassidy won't even try to play with. Big little dog!

One new picture to share.

Cassidy is now 15-weeks old. The pics are from her first day of puppy class this past Saturday.

The black is really starting to come out in her coat. Her soft puppy coat was so much lighter!

Cassidy 17-weeks

Post by Tropicalbreeze » Mon Sep 20, 2010 9:43 pm

Time keeps passing, Cassidy keeps growing! ;)

Puppy training class moved into its third week and true to her Tamaskan heritage, she's very smart and loves to learn new things. If all continues well, she should be in good shape for her AKC Star puppy medal.

Making things even better is her calm and mellow personality, well as calm as a puppy can be that is during class. Compared to most of the other bouncing and wandering pups...lol...

So here are some recent pics - take note of her new boyfriend!

Hear, Hear!.......

With our little ones, we used night music like I played for my kids when they were little. Actually it was our daughters idea. It worked pretty well....but when she wants you.......she means....NOW. It's the separation anxiety. It may take a number of weeks before she settles.

Congratulations!!! go easy on the POI and Pig :D
