Weather all year round is between 70 to 80 degrees with temps dipping down to upper 50's at night in the winter. We live in a "cooler" part of the island, but she'll probably never get her winter coat :)

so between 21 and 26 °c, not very high that's true ;)
Do you have often rain fall ?
We live on the mountainside so we get more rainfall than the other parts of the island...rainy season is usually the first few months of the year. Cassidy loves being outside in the backyard especially at nite when it's cooler :)

Lovely pictures cant believe how the time has gone ;) It is true and something I never thought of but I doubt very much that she will get that thick coat they are known for. When I was in Finland my dogs looked more like wolves than wolves :lol: but now they never get that same really thick and long coat as much warmer in winter here in UK. You would swear they wernt the same dog in some of the pictures between winter and summer coats :lol:

Hey Lynne! Well even if Cassidy never gets the full coat, we love her. Her look is very unique, especially here and we always get stopped and asked the usual Tam question "What breed is she???" ;)

What has been a pleasant surprise is that a small but decent amount of people actually know of Tamaskans and are starting to look into getting one. These people have been those connected with our dog training classes or other dog related activities. They are always impressed with her Tamaskan good nature towards people and pets.

Such a great breed these Tams! I mean, even after Cassy has destroyed one chair and two couches...our heart melts when she smiles. :D

By the way...the wife has gotten into this forum and posts under this account too...lol... In case any posts don't sound like me - hah!

She is very pretty. If I remember rightly wasnt she the smallest pup?
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
.............................................................
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

While we live in Hawaii, the nearest beach is about 20 miles away, so finally got around to taking Cassidy to the beach! She was a little scared of the tide rolling in and out, but enjoyed digging in the sand!
