4 wild baby rabbits

Post by Vroni » Fri Apr 20, 2012 8:11 am

Because a few of you were very interested in the last two baby rabbits I had I thought you want to know about my new little kids.
Children found the 4 sweeties and were sure that the mother will not come back (the mother only looks one or two times a day after her kids) and so they take them at home. To bring them back was not possible because they handeled them and the parents of the childrens were looking after a person which take them to bottle feed the babies and bring them back into nature when they are old enough. After some negative phone calls a friend of mine call me and ask if I will take them. 3 days ago I pick them up of course and began to bottle feed the 4 little rabbits.

They are around 3 weeks old and they are looking good and healthy. I do not think that they will not do it and that they will grow fast and healthy. I am not really sure but I think that they are 3 females and 1 male.

I will take some more pictures later! ;-)

adorable! do you think you'll keep them once they are full grown or try to release them back to the wild?

In German you had to let them out in nature when they are old enough so I am not able to decide that. But when they are grown up nobody will be able to crate them for a good live. They will be getting more and more shy, it is their nature. And they had to run and jump much more than a normal rabbit pet. So I will be lucky to let them free in a few weeks because I know this is what they want.

It is best to let them free it, it has to feel great when you get to do that :)

I think I see Jack's nose in the last photo :) The bunnies look like they have grown a little.

Right!! He is behind the fence.

Yes, they grow a lot and you can see them growing every day! Try to post some new pictures today or tomorrow, than you can see that too. It is amazing!
