I have used links as some of the images are a too large (sorry about that)

And these are the kittens (with their mummy) we rescued last October (their mother was abandoned) we got them at about 5-6 weeks fairly feral (they where living in a friends run down shed (he discovered them the day he moved in)) but we got them just in time and with a fair bit of work we got them social and found them all new homes (including mum who was adopted by a house mates parents) by feb 2012.

Pretty snakes. I likes snakes although I could never bring myself to feed another live animal to one.

I have never fed live -it is very frowned on in the UK and is a very stupid thing to do. It can be harmful to the snake and cruel to both parties (if the snake doesn't kill it straight away the prey has no place to run (in the wild most of the time the prey will run away but it can't in a tank) and will often turn on the snake, biting it repeatability, even to the point it kills it's attacker. Live should only be considered as a last resort if the snake has not eaten in a long while and is loosing a lot of weight.

Mine all eat de-frost mice, rats or chicks. lots of places either sell them or I know some people like in the USA just outright breed and then humanely kill their own to put in the freezer. Some of my mice end up in the freezer for the snakes (due to illness etc) though I do not intentionality breed for food. :P

edit: well people breed for food in the UK as well, but its much easier to buy frozen here as well.

Albino or Leucistic?

I love Leucistic rats so striking (pure white black or texas rats)
albino - lack black pigment - pink eyes- often pinky and white colour.

Love your snakes and mice. I used to have snakes and lizards, but don't have any now. I did have a California king snake bread by Roger Waters (from Pink Floyd) son, but when my marriage ended my ex kept it as I moved in with my parents and my mum has a phobia on snakes :( I used to work in a reptile shop when I lived in London till I had my first child, don't think it is there now.

I'd love to do some work in a reptile store even if its voluntarily! Kings are cool, you should consider getting one again at some point

My mum is scared of snakes too, last time she visited she held my king though so thats a start!! She was so proud of herself!

I would but my husband is not keen. I don't think my mum would ever hold one she can not look at photos of them.

thats a shame -I had a big big phobia of snakes when I was younger - used to have night terrors about them! I didn't know why and when I started watching Steve Irwin a lot, I ended up more curious, and decided I wanted one since I was about 14 wasn't until I moved out for University (three years ago) that I got my first one and truly overcame the fear, (though I'm still jumpy whenever any of them go to bite lol) my boyfriend thinks I'm crazy because I wanted to own what I feared most!!
