Shay meet's a Chick....

Post by issylupus » Fri Jun 22, 2012 11:54 am

I am hatching Polish frizzle, Blue Jersey Giants, Serama x Duch and pure Serama's.
This is N01 to hatch. a Polish silver laced hen.
Shay was very curious and took it in her mouth, not sure if she wanted to eat it or just hold it. She use to pick Tala up when she was smaller(and still dose !!) but she was gental with it. with carefull interduction she is fine with it now.
I kept Tala out of the equasion as she wanted to play with it. her tail was wagging and she kept licking the poor wee thing. I wanted to keep the energy in the room at a peacefull level, so Tala was put to her bed.
I will add more photo's as the chick's hatch.

Too cute! :)

I have pics of my former Belgian sheperd with 6 little chicks we had. She was so careful!

awfully cute :)
Men who consistently leave the toilet seat up secretly want women to get up to go the bathroom in the middle of the night and fall in

The other is Good. It’s joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness and truth.

Here are the 3 Polish frizzle that have hatched. Left to right -- White, Silver laced and buff or creole.
There are two Blue Jersey giants in the hatcher so I will get photo's once they are dry and fluffed.
The Battery hen's.

Yes you may but dont mention my name as I live in a council house and we're not meant to have hen's. once they are big enough I will be ok, as they will be in the plot at the bottom of my garden and the land has nothing to do with the council.
One of my friend's on FB is my housing officer, so the less she know's at this time , the better. if you see what I mean.
I'm not trying to be deceatfull with the council, but where I live is very remote and everyone here has hen's already. I guess their rule is so people who live in town's dont have noisy hen's in their gardens. 8-)

I'm quite happy for you to share any of my FB pictures and have sent you a PM with my FB link. :)
I doubt my council officer would see them from your page anyway.

I like how the chick nearly camouflages in one of the photos while standing on Shay's head
