ESS Shakespeare :)

Post by akaye531 » Wed Nov 14, 2012 11:51 pm

No Tam pics to post yet (3 weeks to go!), but for now I thought I'd introduce my English Springer Spaniel, Shakespeare. He is the sweetest, most lovable dog I've ever met, and I'm so excited for him to have a new friend!

He looks lovely... spaniels have the sweetest, softest eyes...

Thanks all! He is a very sweet boy.

I'm having some trouble uploading photos. I can add them as an attachment, but then I have to make the image pretty small so that it is small enough to upload. How can I used the Img function to embed a photo?

You can upload your photos through photobucket and resize them from there so you can use the Img function. I've been doing that lately since copying the URL from Facebook photos is useless now that the photos there are larger than 800 pixels (for me at least).

FYI, there are some really good free photo editing packages for PCs (Windows/MAC/Linux)
Photoscape is basic and easy to use [www.photoscape.org]
GIMP 2 gives you Photoshop capability without the Adobe price [www.gimp.org/downloads]
Manuals? Not really, but if you're reasonably PC comfortable, either would let you crop/edit/resize with ease.

Gimp is pretty good. I use it a lot for gif animations and re-sizing....

Look at that cute little face :D
