Wintertime Jasper, Yarrow and Onyx

Post by Kootenaywolf » Sat Dec 07, 2013 5:03 pm

I thought I'd make a thread for all three of my pups. Winter has hit with quite the cold spell!

Onyx's very first time on the ice...not sure what this is!

But she got the hang of it quickly

I think he looks a lot wolfier in the winter

Also, Onyx's heeling is coming together quite nicely, yay! (she's working for a stick here, I love having a high drive dog)

Beautiful. Yarrow looks like he really dwarfs the other two in his winter coat.

Woow, beautiful...I like the picture, where Yarrow is covered with snowflakes. And nice heeling, btw.

I think Rowan and Travis (a couple I know living in BC who own an upper-mid content wolfdog) would totally love to see these photos :)

I really dig these photos!
You've got some mad skills there making shots just at the right time, the composition is always very lovely, too! And so are your dogs :)

Thanks guys! I sure have fun with photography :)

Here are some more pics from the past couple months.

Trying out skijoring with Onyx (we had a harness for the person the next day, this was a trail run). I think she could be a great little skijoring dog!

And a "blooper", it's hard to get 3 dogs and a human organized for a photo on a self timer!

Awesome photos! Not only do you have beautiful subjects, but the backdrop is stunning. What are you shooting with?
