I'm on a roll here so I thought I'd post an Onyx update as well!
She is 1 1/2 now and just so much fun. Very happy with her!
Crazy-face
She came on a road trip down the coast to San Francisco last spring. She traveled very well and LOVED the ocean!
At the sand dunes in Oregon
Paddle boarding with me this summer
Oh so cool
Always with the teeth <3
And these next ones were from an IPO seminar we went to a few weeks ago (photos taken by another lady in attendance)
Both having SO much fun
Heeling with the boyfriend (I make him work with her because it cracks me up, she heels very nicely for him though!)
And lastly a couple of videos.
Bitework from the seminar (we are still quite new to this)
And some obedience in the pouring rain the other day. She's coming along pretty well I think, especially considering this isn't her best work as she doesn't love the rain...

Nice obedience! Very nice heeling position. Have you already started to train apport? Would love to see videos...

I haven't, really - yet! Next on the list! My training has been sporadic because I'm doing it mostly all myself, and she's my first sport dog really. I don't have any specific goals at the moment, so we're just training what's fun and slowly picking away at everything.

Since I found myself here, I figured I may as well post some updates! Onyx is 2 1/2 now. She's my little girl We had a bit of a life overhaul this past year or so, and I didn't have as much time for serious work/training with Onyx but she took it in stride. I'm hoping to get back to at least disc, maybe a bit of agility, and the ever elusive IPO...if only the nearest club wasn't 6hrs (one way) drive! We've still of course been doing lots of trick training and having lots of adventures
So, photos! (starting from last fall/winter).
From Fall last year, learning a foot rebound.
Little crazy!
"Helping" me slackline...
We moved, and this river flows right along the property, so me and the dogs spent a lot of time down there this summer!
I love the string of drool...
Group shot!
"Human" trick...I should have called it velociraptor!
This trail loop goes around the property, so it's a morning ritual to walk it.
Hiking!
Most recent photos of her this fall.
The lighting in this photo makes her look way lighter than she is, but I really like it anyway...
All done! Whoops that was quite the picture spam...

Oh and a few videos for good measure
This one is long, it was her birthday video last year and has some footage that I already posted, but I thought I'd add it anyway...
