Tamaskan or not?

Post by frogline » Mon Jul 11, 2011 10:36 am

We've a new advertising on the French TV.. the publicity is rather average, but in your opinion, the present "wolves" are wolves, Tamaskan, Czechoslovak, others?!

There’s a battle between two wolves inside us all.
One is Evil. It’s anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies and ego.
The other is Good. It’s joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness and truth.

The wolf that wins? The one you feed!

Looks like a couple of CWDs and some wolfdogs. They are certainly very wolfy :)

Cute ad!

I'm no expert but the wolves look like CG to me. Perhaps they brought in a real animal for the face shots of the black wolf but otherwise that looks computer generated. The motion isn't quite right throughout. The shadows don't match with the shadows of the humans in the first few seconds. And, the shading on the wolves doesn't match the lighting on the humans. If you look at about 19 seconds the black wolf is the only one that seems to be casting a shadow.

great... ok!
I think Czechoslovak for the 1st and the last dog... for the others between, I'm not really sure... and I totally agree with WhiteElkStag and the computer theory!

Very funny advertisement  They did look like mostly CWDs and the black one looked like a wolfdog and then they used the CG for the dancing.

i think they used some real animals, probably a mix of wolfdogs/czech, and then did some CG work and also manipulated them (notice they track back and forth to rock their heads) so just a broad mix of tricks to get the look they wanted.

Some looked more like Czech wolfdogs while a few looked more like upper-mid contents with German Shepherds and the rocking head part was done by special effects. Still this video was hilarious XD

Well they're not Tamaskans for sure. If they were we would have all known about that commercial along time ago.

At O:37 from left to right, when I paused the video it looks like:
Czech Wolfdog
White Colored German Shepard(also known as the American White Sheperd)
A purebred or very high content black wolf/wolfdog
low content wolf-husky mix or german shepard mix
and another czech wolfdog
