HiTenshi16's Art

Post by HiTenshi16 » Sun Mar 13, 2011 2:27 pm

Thought I could go ahead and post this up. I am very proud at how this turned out as I worked on it for a few months (with plenty of interruptions in between). The actual picture is 20"x30" and would take just 10 minutes to save on my computer because of how big it is and how high I had the resolution. I made this for a very good friend of mine of her Great Dane Johnny running though a field of sunflowers, her favorite flower, all on Photoshop CS5.

Cool !!!
Did you draw the dog? It's really good!

Now I'm curious ... how many of you readers are doing things like this in spare time?
I do .. I draw! I'm not good at drawing  but it is fun and relaxing.

Thank you for all the compliments :)
I did draw everything on there including the dog. I only had a couple pictures of him to work with and they were all from the front so I kinda had to guess on the correct markings on his side. The flowers I drew a couple, turned them basically into stamps and just layered them a couple times since I found that easier than drawing each individual one.

I don't think it is very good  , a try at photo-manipulation of myself in a "Mary HAD a little lamb" costume and Ulric in a "wolf in sheep's clothing" costume that we dressed in for Halloween. Just curious to know what you all think ;)

I know this is some two months ago but I'm still going to share my opinion on it anyways since you requested it. Overall it's not as bad as you think, I actually got scared at first which if that was your intention then I give it an A+. Mary looks a bit zombified the way your costume was all light and somewhat pale and the background totally fits with the Halloween theme. Nice work! But watch out for the werewolves, they eat zombies so I hope your Ulric is mighty enough to stand in and defend you. XD

Finally finished this piece for my step-mum. This was her beagle, Sissy, who had to be put down a couple months ago due to old age and a cancerous tumor. She got to the point where she could not move around so much or wouldn't eat, RIP fat little girl.

Something I have been working on and off on. I really like silhouettes, I am satisfied with the colours, I think I am with the texture. Still have more I need to add onto this, thinking of doing seasonal versions of this too.

A snarling wolf tattoo design. The original with the heart design was for a friend but he decided not to have it done since his fiance dumped him, but he still liked it.

The shading style reminds me of those paint by number kits I used to do when I was younger. Simple, but effective. Very nice!

From my DeviantArt Journal....
Of course when things start to brighten up, it gets cloudy again. My husband's boss will not give him the 40 hours he needs, even though the other employees have complained that they need him there to help them out, he is only getting 24 hours this week, I barely am getting 35 hours (sometimes less). This means that my husband will not be able to go to college this year as we can not afford it. These courses he would of taken would of helped him get a better job, and made it so that we are not relying more on my paycheck to survive.

I hate to ask for anything, but now I feel like I need to beg for commissions to help us out. Maybe what little I make can help us at least get our bills down. I need all the help I can get right now...
If anyone is interested in helping us out with wanting a commission from me, you can PM me here, email me (HiTenshi16@gmail.com), note me on DeviantArt, or even send me a message on Facebook.
