Tamaskan portrait (sort of)

Post by ligerwolve » Tue Jan 06, 2015 2:15 pm

Hello :)

I have been painting a few Tamaskan portraits lately and thought I would share the progress of one. Its just the eyes but I like this particular crop. I have done a tiger, wolf and jaguar the same.

This piece is pastel on velour paper and of Booma's Balto.

That's it for tonight I will try post some new shots tomorrow after I complete a bit more :) Hope you like!

Janet don't forget the pic you did of the 3 aussie tamigos (started before we got our 4th). Some people might not have seen that awesomeness.

My prices vary greatly depending on the commission but any where from $80.00-$8000.00 AUD for originals. Though I am also slowly building up a shop of giftware and there are some wolf products :)

This one ....hmm after framing the price would probably be about $400.00ish. Then you would have to figure in postage.

You can check out my artwork at www.ligerwolvedesigns.com or www.facebook.com/ligerwolvedesigns. I have just started a twitter account too

Well considering Janet spent 20-40 hours on this picture (drawing time then touch up time) that means she is being "paid" less $20-$10 per hour to draw this very awesome picture (price includes frame). I think that's very reasonable considering this is her job.

Import to note that that's almost nothing in Australia - 15 yr olds make more than that.

Minimum wage here is $10ish, but cost of living is astronomical. I think our dollars are about the same right now too. If I had $400 then I'd definitely look into it...but alas.

Start saving. It'll be about 8-10 k to bring Wylie over - you'll also have to neuter him because you won't be allowed to bring in an entire male that's a crypto.
