Dog Sitting Swap??

Post by freshbake » Thu Dec 19, 2013 4:20 pm

Hey there!

I have a very friendly and social 10 month old female Tamaskan and I'm wondering if anyone on the forum or if someone knows of another dog owner who would be interested in a dog sitting swap?

What I mean by a dog sitting swap is that my family (my husband and I, we have no children yet) would watch your Tamaskan or other dog on your vacation trip and then when my family goes on vacation you would return the favor and watch our Tamaskan.

Has anyone ever done anything like this before? or have a completely made this thing up? :P :P

Either way I'm really interested in knowing if anyone has any interest in something like this.

We live in Northern Virginia, 40 minutes outside of DC so it'd probably only work with another family in Virginia or Maryland.

I just saw on a USA Tamaskan map on facebook that there are 14 Tamaskans in Virginia and 7 Tamaskans in Maryland :D

Thanks!!!

I live in Frederick, MD and have a 2-yr old intact male, Max, so for obvious reasons, my first question would be if your female is intact.

brilliant idea, with kenneling fees being so expensive, as long as the bitch is not in season, no problem, and also good to socialize the dogs

I do this with my fish, but I don't think there are any Tams close by. Which I'm sure the cats like.
